Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 5 Recap

A long flashback featuring Sasuke and Boruto talking about Boruto’s Uchiha style opens the previous chapter. Suddenly, Code shows up in the middle of their exchange. Sasuke takes action, breaking Code’s eye in the process. Though Code has a strong Juubi army, Sasuke begs Boruto to flee because he is concerned for his safety. Sasuke’s goal is to make sure that Boruto survives and fulfills his duty to look for Sarada.

The scene shifts as a tree by the name of Hidari engulfs Sasuke. The flashback has ended. Currently, Moegi is discovered by Konohamaru’s crew imprisoned in a different tree—which they have since dubbed Matsuri. Now, Matsuri, in her tree form, talks to Alfredo and they discover they both know the same thing. They conspire to eat Boruto, Kawaki, and Naruto together.

Eida knows about their plan. Matsuri is pining for Konohamaru, and Hidari—who is now a tree—reveals that Sarada Uchiha is their goal. Amado and Sumire talk about Boruto’s valiant deeds against Code in Konoha. Feeling privileged to have Sasuke’s trust, Boruto reveals that Sarada was instrumental in saving his life. Sarada gives Boruto a tender embrace as the chapter comes to an end, complimenting him on his stylish tardiness.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 6 Spoiler

The chapter opens with Shikamaru speaking to the Konoha feudal lords, who are curious about Boruto’s return to the village after his abortive effort to murder “Uzumaki Kawaki.” The leaders asked Shikamaru to kill Boruto because they believed it to be a matter of the village’s faith and dependence, despite the fact that Boruto assisted the village in defeating Code and forced him to retreat.

When the lords inform Shikamaru that his time has come to an end and that he should take on the job of the eighth lord, he understands their concerns and leaves the chamber. He hears a hammering sound coming from his room after returning. As Ino walks into the office carrying private papers, Shikamaru apologizes for putting her through this.

After clarifying that the documents are out-of-date mission records containing important information, Shikamaru asks Ino to leave. When Ino mentions his scheme, Kawaki and Eida come into focus right away. As she explains the idea of the ten-tails’ consciousness to Kawaki, Eida characterizes it as a type of waking. When Kawaki asks about Code, Eida responds that they have advanced to a point where Code cannot keep up.
